Episode 410: Cartman's Silly Hate Crime 2000

As usual, the ground is snow covered in South Park. Taking advantage of this, the kids of South Park Elementary are having a sledding race on a "hill." A "hill" that's about a foot and a half high, that is. Regardless, our intrepid heroes mount their sled and race against two other teams of four, all of them boys. Our familiar four win when their sled reaches the bottom of the "hill" first. Token complains that the only reason they won is because Eric's ass is so fat. Eric takes umbrage at being called fat, but before he can get a decent tirade going, a group of girls approach the sledders. The girls say that they want to use the sleds now, but the boys refuse to let them, citing that they can't sled because sleds are for guys. Tensions escalate to their boiling point, when the girls challenge the boys to a sledding race down Phil Collins Hill. The rules state that the four best female sledders take on the four best males in a pre-pubescent battle of the sexes. Everyone agrees to the terms laid out, and the females go their own way. With the females gone, the boys assure themselves that there is no way they can lose to a bunch of girls. Token chimes in that the boys can't lose thanks to Eric's enormous ass. Eric once again gets pissed off and threatens to hit Token in the head with a rock if he calls him fat one more time. While Eric's back is turned, Kyle says "fat ass" while standing next to Token, sending Eric over the edge and causing him to send the rock crashing into the side of Token's head. Token falls to the ground, unconscious.

In Mr. Mackey's office, Eric and Token are seated while Mr. Mackey and Miss Cartman admonish Eric for his actions. Eric nonchalantly apologizes to the adults and Token, thinking it will get him off the hook. His plan fails however, as Mr. Mackey sentences him to two weeks of detention as punishment for his actions. As Eric starts to argue with Mr. Mackey, two FBI agents enter the scene. The inform Mr. Mackey that they are in South Park to investigate the "rock throwing incident." They explain that since the victim is an African-American the incident is considered a hate crime and therefore a federal offense. Eric is taken into custody by the feds, with the charges brought against him to be prosecuted in a federal court of law.
